    Cut'r bug tip.

If you are the type of fella who likes to toss around a spinerbait or a jig, try rigging a 3.5" cut'r as a trailer. One of the big things I like about the cut'r as a trailer is that you can use a trailer hook and the trailer wont get fouled in the plastic trailer. A lot of plastics just get in the way of a trailer, but the cuter gives nice profile and action while hiding the trailer hook, without fouling the lure.

It important to rig it with the cut'r bug first. Then slip the trailer hook last. This way the trailer hook sits on top of the cut'r and is invisible to the fish from below.

As you can see, the width of the cutter hides the trailer perfectly. If you want to shorten up the length of the plastic, just snip a bit off the front before you rig it on the spinner. The real sweetness is the shimmy the cut'r gives off when its slipping through the water.

I really like that the slimness of the bait doesnt add a lot of bulk but it does add a wide-long profile very similar to the shape of many bait fish.

Great tip RiverRat! I also like to split the tail it seems to give it just a little more action.
